Royal Goodwin Sand Golf Society

A golf society formed in 1952 between England (Chestfield GC and Belgium ( Knokke - Zoute). How and why has unfortunately been lost in time, although news paper cutting mention the earliest encounters. Formely the Goodwin Sands Golf society but It has been granted Royal assent by the King of Belgium. So the name Royal Goodwin Sands Golf Society was adopted. Games are played bi-annualy in each country.
